Christmas 2006

Yeah, I enjoy eating on Christmas day, especially Lola Mila's Lumpiang Shanghai. Burp!

And here are my Ate Mayan and Kuya Lean at Lola Nanay's house in Cavite. Actually, my daddy took advantage of my few minutes of rest period after running and walking around for hours. Even Lola Nany gave up on following me. hehehe

Last Monday and Tuesday, my daddy and mommy brought me to Zoobic Safari in this neat little place called the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. There I had a chance to have a picture with a baby tiger while mommy feeds him with Cowhead milk. Daddy doesn't look like he was scared, but I bet he was, like me. hehehe

Aside from seeing tigers, I also had a chance to watch the sealion show at Ocean Adventure. Thalia was an intelligent sea lion. Mommy had fun watching her do her tricks. A dolphin and whale show followed which mommy enjoyed so much. Daddy said he enjoyed it also. As for me, I slept during the show as I was too tired after too much walking.

I am the daughter of Master Daddy Noli Skywalker

And this is my light saber.....cool, eh?

Last Sunday, my mommy and daddy brought me to the Avilon Zoo in Montalban Rizal. It was a huge place where they keep lots of animals. I had a nice time watching the ducks, cutie birds in different colors, eerie snakes and lizards, the big cats such as the cougars, tigers and lions, the hopping kangaroo, the lonely orangutan, and my favorite of them all - Winnie the Pooh's black cousin! I felt so brave being near those animals, the tour guide was impressed that I did not show signs of fear.

It was a great trip. I wish I could go back there when I'm old enough to understand what the tour guide was explaining to my attentive parents..maybe next year, to see the new addition to the zoo... the giraffes and elephants!

To see more pictures of the Avilon Zoo, visit my dad's photoblog.

Mama and Papa opened a Metrobank Kiddie Savings Account in-trust for me. The initial deposit is big enough to buy me 12 cans of milk. The money came from the piggy bank savings and my christening and 1st birthday cash gifts.

Thank you Papa and Mama for teaching me as early as now the value of saving for the future.

Riyan's 1st Birthday Party

Yesterday, my mama and papa with my lola Delia and ate Judi, brought me to the biggest mall in the Philippines - the SM Mall of Asia. It was really big pala. Just a few hours of walking around made us feel hungry already. So we decided to eat at KFC! It is true what they say the the fried chickens at KFC are finger lickin' good. Just take a look at this picture:

The fried chicken was so delicious that after my first piece, I looked for some more inside the bucket. :D

After visiting Mall of Asia from the South Building to the North Bldg., it was time to leave. We visited the site of our house where construction is currently on going. Then we went to the UP chapel to pray since it was my birthday. After that we had a nice merienda at Red Ribbon where I ate lots of spaghetti!

It was a fun day, tiring and yet I was happy because my family was there to celebrate my birthday with me. But of course I will be more happy on Saturday since it is going to be my INCREDIBLES Birthday Party at McDonalds!...See you there!

Oh..don't be confused, I am not a participant, just a fan of two of the players, my papa and mama. Can you see me in the picture?

My papa and his partner Mr. Noli won in the Level B category. Mom was not lucky though, wait till I grow up Mom, we can play Ladies Doubles...!

Last weekend, my mommy and daddy took our new car to a test drive to Tagaytay City. It was a nice Sunday and driving through the coastal road was a breeze. We dropped by lola Alice's house in Gen Trias Cavite first. After a half an hour, we're off to Tagaytay City to have lunch at Sonya's Garden. The road to Tagaytay was a bit foggy when we reached Alfonso, Cavite. But the travel hassle was all worth it, because mommy and daddy enjoyed the nice garden fresh salad. The nature-inspired ambiance in Sonya's Garden was also perfect for eating those greens. After having our lunch, we're left the place and visited the lot where our future house will be built, somewhere in Antipolo. Then, we proceeded to U.P. to visit my tita Aura and my cousins. Then, we went home. It was a tiring day, my daddy felt dead tired when we reached home. But still, we all had a good time and enjoyed riding TONG, our new car. Till our next road trip!

Meet Lucky2!

Woot! woot! Mommy's dream car finally come true! Meet Lucky2, a 2006 model, Kia Picanto. A newer version of our ould and trusted dear Pong. Nice color, nice interior, nice engine. Hope it last till I'm able to drive. :-)

Peek-A-Boo!

Peek-A-Boo!

Peek-A-Boo with beautiful eyes....

I felt like an adult this morning. I was sitting on my sofa while reading my favorite book. Mr. Bear and Mr. M sat beside me while I read to them.

A messy corner isn't it...? Hey, this is my play area, thus, the mess! =)

Yesterday was my cousin Bernadette Clare's christening. It was held at the same church where I was baptised. Despite the hot and humid day, my cousin's guests, mostly relatives and friends from the Siggaoat and Carpio side, to the Estradas, all had a great time. I was wearing this cute pink sporty dress that mama bought from Big and Small. What's so cute about it, was the badminton racket embroidered on it. Kinda reminds my parents of how I was made? :D

Here's my Lola Mila and Lola Emmie (Lola Delia's Sisters)

Lola, Cutie Me, My pretty Mommy, My cutie cousin, my pretty Tita, and my handsome Tito!...Hmm, guess where my daddy was?

This is my tito Carlo Carpio.

Is of course watching TV!

What else could a baby like me do to while away time. My parents and my lola are very thankful to Barney and his friends for giving them time to do other stuff at home aside from looking after me. Because Barney time is always a peaceful time for me! :-)

Mommy, I want my new green Kia Picanto!

Happening SOON!

This is what I do while waiting for my turn to get served by my Pedia.

I never though that grocerying was fun until my mommy and daddy brought me along with them last Sunday. Despite the smell of the grocery at Rustan's in Congressional Avenue, I still enjoyed the time I spent with my parents. And of course I enjoyed riding the grocery cart!

Hello cousin!

No, that is not me but my cutie cousin. She was born last Sunday at St. Luke’s Hosp. I cannot visit her yet coz I am still sick but I wish the red spots all over my body brings her good luck…hahaha! Can’t wait to play with you baby Claire….

It started when I had the fever last wednesday. My mom, dad and lola were all worried because it is my first time to be sick. They were alarmed when my fever reached 39. But the doctor said there's nothing to worry about, the fever will be gone soon and the red spots will appear. Oh my what red spots!!?! My flawless skin is now flawed.....I cant bear to look at myself in the mirror, Oh i guess there's nothing to worry about, am still cute....

My High Chair

Look I am so high…maybe food will taste better when elevated…=)

My daddy and mommy really wants me to start appreciating their favorite sports as early as now. Last Sunday, while they were playing badminton, I watched them play and even cheered for my mom (at least that's what she believed in when she heard me scream!). Anyway, I kinda appreciated the game naman, because I didn't cry for one straight hour. I just busied myself biting eveything that my mommy put in my lap (Office ID, cellphone toy, milk bottle, teddy bear, etc..). I can't wait to grow up so that I can start learning how to play badminton!

This photo was taken at the Picture Company Studio in Podium. Tita Swellyn gave us a complimentary photo session pass. Thanks Tita Swellyn. I know now how it feels to be a model. :-)

The many (smiling) faces of riyan...!

Last weekend was my first trip to Baguio with my mommy and daddy. We stayed at the Manor Hotel in Camp John Hay. It was a very beautiful hotel with a nice garden where I had my first taste of the cool Baguio Breeze.

Of course, my trip wouldn't be complete without meeting my friend Jo-Lo who lives in Baguio with her mommy Tina. And where else could we possibly meet? Cafe by the Ruins!

And so, when Riyan finally meets Jo-lo, they had a milking session by the Ruins!

After drinking our milk, Jo-lo seemed satisfied already, and I wasn't. I'm still hungry. I'm not so used to Baguio's temperature that it made me feel hungry easily. My parents and tita Tina (too bad, ninong tito nick was not able to make it) were having a good time talking about a lot of stuff, until they noticed that the sky is getting dark. So we had to depart ways. Jo-lo and I promised to see each other on my birthday this October if all plans pushed through. If not, we might meet again in December.

It was nice meeting you Jo-lo and Tita Tina. Thank you for the nice gift. See you again soon!

Yesterday my mommy took me for a carousel ride in Podium. Actually, it was my daddy who insisted to my mommy that we take the ride. Mommy lovingly obliged. :-)

The first turn of the carousel had me jumping out of that wooden horse.

But mommy was not convinced that i want to get off. So she put me back on top of the horse.

Good thing the ride was not that long. But look what happened to me. This is what parents are capable of doing to their helpless babies.... :-)

Dancing Papa

Last Saturday, I went to my parents’ office to watch my papa dance on stage! =) It was my first time to see an auditorium full of people. I sat quietly on mama’s lap while watching the ballet and hiphop numbers of some kids and while waiting for the finale where my papa would dance. I already knew some of his steps because he practiced in front of me a few days ago but there were some steps which surprised me. It was fun watching him dance. A few years from now, I will also perform on that stage while he and mama will watch me, and they will be proud of me the way I felt proud of my dancing papa. =)

Last Saturday, my parents introduced me to a not so famous raquet sports called, Squash. Here you can see me holding my mom's squash raquet with a cutie yellow colored over-grip. While my daddy was playing all by himself inside the squash court.

hmm...when they will get me my own badminton raquet? Squash raquet is very heavy.

The WIld

I inherited my parent's fondness of watching movies so here i am watching the Wild using my mom's dvd portable player...she wanted a small screen for someone small like me.

Alyanna’s birthday party was held last Sunday at the Discovery Suites Penthouse (a rich baby huh?. The theme was the DISNEY princesse and Mama forced me to attend as Ariel without the tail. I guess I am not the party girl type coz I was so sleepy the whole time so I kept myself busy by eating the oatmeal cookie and watching waiters carry plates and glasses with one hand. Amazing!
